Little did this group know what they were starting!
In those days we travelled to the West Country by steam train and used buses or walked to get about! When the group grew in number we were able to hire a coach to take us down and stay with us to take us on trips out during the week. But the cost of a coach became too much and we turned to minibuses driven by our leaders. The range of activities and level of Bible study have all increased as can be seen on our “About our Study Week” page but our prime concern has always been to encourage our young people to honour our Heavenly Father, to desire a part in building his coming glorious kingdom, to choose Jesus Christ as their Lord, Master and Saviour and be lead by his example from 2000 years ago when he lived a humble life of obedience to his and our Heavenly Father. So we are very thankful that our group has an excellent behaviour record, being welcomed wherever we go.
